Default DK lowering blocks

They move the shock back and down, gets it about an inch lower, any thing I should be worried about..

What year bike?

There are thousands of 2002-Up using them with no problems.

Pre-2002 the extra leverage on the swingarm is not recommended.

There are a few very vocal guys on the forum that don't like them. However, I have never seen a failure on a 2002-Up bike with one of our billet blocks.

I tried them on my Road King Classic, they didn't work because of the molded recess for the shocks on the back of the bag. I didn't want to cannibalize my bags so I returned them.

Well I had them on my 1996 and had ZERO issues with them. And I will be adding them to my 1997.

Default No problems.

I used them on my 2012 SG with no issues. I also lowered the front 1" with progressive spring kit in the forks. It all works well although some will tell you that the geometry will be all screwed up if you use the blocks. I have not had that experience.

The ride will be stiffer and your detachable bracket will need modified
for addition clearance. The angle is now changed and when the suspension
collapse it will hit the sissy bar detachable bracket. No big deal, get the grinder
out and touch up paint.

The only issue I had was the change of shock angle caused the shock to slightly rub the strut cover. The kit I was using was by Burley.
