Be very careful about 'value shopping' your kit...there's generally a good reason the less expensive kits are...less expensive!

Forgot about the ABS...My 07 stock brake lines is all 1 piece so i had to get all 3 lines...The Gooderidge set up installed very easily...No issues in 3000 miles...I read some good and bad about Gooderidge and Motion Pro but so did i about other overpriced products...I think installation and detail goes a long way to durability and proper operation.

figure out what you mentioned will cost you.. then call Hill Country Customs. They have a package for your liking/bike that includes everything (lines, wires, reservoir(s), handlebar switches, levers, etc. ) already installed. you unplug, unbolt your existing bars, bolt on and re-plug your new bars, and be on your way... IMO it's worth looking into

One last question... So I am going from stock to 12"... many of the sites I will be buying from have length in 4", 6", 8", all the way up to 24" extensions... According to one of my searches the stock bars are 7 3/4", which mean I need to "extend" cables/wires/brake line minimal of 6" right... not purchase 12" in extension.

I was thinking of going 8" extensions, because a few of my friends said I will probably move up to 14" due to my height (6'). I have ridden a SG with 12" and was comfortable, but if I want to go higher I would like to get a head of the curve just in case

Are you Air Force? If so, head to Biloxi a short ride up 10 and I'll do your bars for you free of charge. Just bring the parts and a beer or two...Billeting is decent on Keesler too...

I went with 12" classic Yaffe apes (internal wiring) a couple months ago and didn't have to extend the wires just reroute them. Take the wires out of the connectors (make good diagrams) and feed them 1 at a time through the bars because the wires are stiff enough (Vaseline is your friend for this). I tried doing them all together staggered in a bunch but it didn't work for me. For the TBW I ground down the outside of the green clip to make it as small as possible and taped it together with electrical tape. I taped them all together and fed those through last (some will say to do this first). I went with Magnum Shielding +6 on the brake and +8 on the clutch but +10 would have been better on the clutch and not as tight of a fit. I'm 6' with a low riding C&C seat and the height is perfect for me. I can use the stock mirrors and look under my hands. My check list for internal wiring the bars was:

1. Bars (drill out the holes just a little bigger and smooth out burs)
2. Vaseline for running wires
3. Electrical tape
4. Small screw driver to remove wires from connectors (pay attention to which way they clip back in. Not only the color but which side of the end is facing the inside and outside of the connector)

It was about a 5 hour job total doing it for the first time. Now that I've done it once I could probably do it in around 3 hours. Good luck.

For the few extra dollars its cost, go with the 12" extensions, more is better for future endeavors. I went with a +4 clutch cable but routed it outside of the fairing and through the dash pod opening at the bars which I think looks better. I overkilled on the brake line and went 2 piece, with 10" from the M/C to the upper line connector but it's all hidden in the fairing.
