What Geoff said, plus detailing stuff generally should not be stored at or below freezing.

I don't like winter. Not so much sunlight, no warm breezes, no bikinis.

If you cant heat garage just tarp off a small area for bike and heat it with a small heater when you are working on it, works great

Get a Mr. Heater for the garage. No matter how cold it is outside, I can keep the inside in the 70s if I want.

eta: Be careful with that Mr. Heater. My 3 burner propane Mr. Heater almost punched my ticket last December. If you're gonna use propane heaters get a carbon monoxide detector.

I have an electric heater in my garage and keep it at 40 degrees. It costs about $90 a month to run this in the winter but its worth it so the vehicles aren't cold either getting in them
