Well, I got the MGS duals installed. It took a little longer for them to arrive than I expected but I think that has a lot to do with them being a small company that has one person performing each function.
The pipes themselves are made extremely well. They chrome both the headers themselves and the heat shields and both look nice. The bends are clean and the heat shield set up is great. The instructions they provide do leave a lot to be desired but these install exactly like Rineharts. If you have done a set of those, you should be able to do these. The install took about two hours and that included rerouting the rear O2 sensor through the battery box and adjusting my backrest switch mounting location. I still have a few small things to do yet...
I didn't get a chance to ride the bike yet. It's cold and I like to drink while I work in the garage so riding was out of the question by the time I was done (**** Creek is delicious by the way...). For some reason, the new headers are louder than the Fuelmoto set up I took off but I like the sound. All and all, I am pretty happy so far. I'll update more tomorrow after I get a chance to ride it. I'll get some pics up then too...
Will be anxious to see the pics and hear your review after riding. I certainly love mine.
What did you do about your O2 sensors? Are you running them in the 12mm bungs or did you go to the 18mm location with an adaptor? I have the adaptors I just didn't move them yet...

I left mine in the 12mm bungs - but interestingly - I do have quite a bit of decel popping. Not sure how much the tune I got at the dealership is affecting that situation, but I do wonder now if I should have gone with the adaptors.

I'm patiently awaiting mine from MGS as we speak. Did you opt for their "loud baffles"? I got the black ceramic coated with loud baffles.I'm also trying to get my hands on the Thundermax but I'm told, "not for a 14 yet, they're in the works and we'll put your name on the list". Did you do the install on a lift or on the floor?
By the way, I'm a drinker and a tinkerer in the garage as well Brother.
I got the loud baffles and true duals. They sound great. Chris (at MGS) described the loud baffles as "surprisingly quiet at idle and cruising speeds. But if you crack the throttle, it's noticibly louder". He was right on the money. They look good and sound good. Only problem is the heat shield that comes off the rear cylinder. The hose clamp mount broke. MGS is welding a beefier mount and replacing it for free. I got one of their blemished sets. I can't find any blemishes.
I am still running my supertrapp rocket tails. I bought just the headers. Did any of you have issues with the side cover being too close to the rear header? I think it may be because I used the conical gaskets (per Chris) and they don't allow the pipe to pull as far in to the port as the SE ones...
