Default Operating CB without AM?F? radio/CD Player?

Bought an 07 Ultra last fall. First time with a sound system. Over the winter I have been reading/rereadingthe many, many, manypages in the operators manual on the sound system operation . Nowhere can I find how to operate the CB system only, without music, radio interference. I know that I could mute the radio volume and get by that way but was wondering if there was another way.
Thanks for any replies.
Bob

I just push the CB button and leave it in setup mode.
Works on my 05.

On my 06, once the CB is turned on you can move your PTT switch to right and reduce your squelch to 0. CB stays on all the time. I'm road testing mine in the a.m.for signal strength. Hope it works

If you want to use the CB only naturally the unit has to be on. Use the left hand volume control and turn the volume down until the display says MUTE. The CB talks thru yor headset. To adjust the CB volume open your squelch all the way up and use the volume control to adjust. You can also adjust CB volume when someone is transmitting instead of opening the squelch.
