Default Not Another One!!

Yes, this is another Handlebar Thread....sorry! My question is: Has anyone with a 2014 FLHTK Ultra Limited changed out their handlebars yet? No, not apes but just something that brings the bars closer to the rider. If so, were there any issues with any of the cables?

Look forward to your replies.

Normally I check out the Search Option first and the one time that I don't.... there it is in Blk and wh. I think from what I have read, I will give a serious look at the HD 2" Reduced Reach bar and ppl have indicated that nothing other than the bar is required (all stock cables, including Hydraulic clutch) are good to go with this upgrade.

Thanks for reading and you still want to chime in with some alternative....pls feel free. Opinions are always appreciated.

Try adjusting your stock bars first. They should rotate in their clamps towards you quite a way. Costs nothing to try! I find most test ride bikes I have ridden have the bars set too high and far away, as if they are installed for very tall riders.

Friend put beach bars (chubbys) on his RK and they look great, he did have to change (lengthen) all of the cables though.

Just installed the HD "Reduced Reach" bars, brings the grips 2" closer than std. Internal wiring works great with no additional cable changes required.
