Looking to upgrade my 2014 SGS this winter. Dealer does not want to install the Paul Yaffe Monkey Bars.
Does anyone know who will install these bars around Minneapolis?
Also.....to keep the bars below the fairing....what size....10"?
Thanks!

I have 12in Yaffe bars on my SG. I did the install myself and they are a pain. Not surprised that some dealers don't want to deal with them. Getting all the wires through the throttle side was an exercise in patience. My 12in bars are above the fairing so 10s will put you right on the edge.
My dealer installed mine.......,but decided that was the first and last MBB they will install. Took them well over 10 hrs but I was only charged for the 5hrs that I was quoted. The 10" are just a little over the top of the fairing and not a noticeable amount of wind hitting the hands
Sounds like 10s would be ticket for you. It's pain running wire bundles on right side but it's doable with little patience and plenty beer afterwards . I only had to run +4 clutch cable everything else reached ok. I've read some post saying '14 clutch brake cables ok. The Yaffe instuctions are pretty good give it a shot we'll give u moral support!
I was at my dealer today and he was installing a set on a 14 SG the tech was saying what a PIA the wiring was they were 12's and he did not need to extend any cables.
These are 12" Monkey Bars on my '14 street glide! Glad I went with the size I did! Just remember with the 10" bars that you will not be able to use fairing mounted mirrors.
