Saddlebag liner question
After ordering and sending back the carpet liners from ebay I ordered the Harley ones. Well they arrived yesterday and they were not what I expected. These things are a thick material with a molded hard bottom. Seem to take up a good amount of space in the bags. What I was hoping they would be are the thinner molded carpet liners like the ones that come on the SE Ultra. Can those be purchased anywhere??

that is a damn good question. i purchased the harley ones with the hard bottom and the handles. i only use them when i pack clothes to wear like shirts, socks, jeans. and then i only use one so my clothes are clean and i have a bag to carry them into the room.

I have the ones with the handles as well, and they do take up some space in the bags but it's really convienient to just grab the whole pak and go. I even take them with me on Fly&Rides - just pack my clothes in there, carry on the plane, and drop 'em into the bagger I rent when get to the dealer!
I think HD also sells the molded carpet-like ones. Have to check the catalog, but I don't think they're designed to be removable.
