You literally have hundreds of choices for grips.
You are not locked in to a Harley grip.

So, the guys telling you to buy what you like best really are giving you the best answer.
It is a personal choice on what style you like. There is a reason there are so many choices.

I had the HD Get-A-Grips on my Street Glide, and liked them.
But then I wanted something different, and put some on from Avon.
There are so many choices, your sure to find a design/style you like.

A little harsh there dude.
Lots of experienced riders that may not actually post a lot.

Check out H-D Aileron grips. They are very comfortable and look good on a Street Glide.

I had K-Iso Grips but the rubber started to deteriorate after a few years. Went to a set of SAC grips from coolsac. These are beefy and SO comfortable. The options for the grips are endless and they have the best throttle lock I've ever seen if you want one. The quality is excellent and they're out of Buffalo, NY. AND they're reasonably priced.

As soon as I figure out if I'm getting different bars, I'll be ordering a set for my 14 SGS.

They have a bunch of other great products, too.

I got a pair of the Get-A-Grips at Black Hills HD this year and really like them. They feel really good without gloves and with gloves of all sizes. Got the ones with the chrome end caps which look pretty good with my 2012 RGC. They're too hard for some people but I like the solid feel and the "grip-I-ness", LOL. Like everyone said, you need to try several to find the ones you like. I looked at several Kury and HD ones but thought the Get-A-Grips would be right for me.

Oops sorry, didn't realize I wasn't worthy.

I have the Get-A-Grips on my SG. They're pretty decent, but not very soft - especially if you're riding a long haul without gloves.

You have the wrong part number, kryingame! You want the Get-A-Grip Magnum Grips (56100036).

I have a similar setup: Vivid Black bike with black inner fairing and black control housings. I currently have Avon Custom Contour Ano Fly Grips, which look very close to the HD grips, but cost much less $$$ (paid $46.40 from Eastern Performance Cycle):

I've done grip changes on almost every bike I've owned. I decided to stick with the stock grips until I change the handlebars. At least for right now. I won't be making any changes until the weather changes anyways. Unless I absolutely had to have heated, etc.

As it's already been said, there are a million grips. I think you should just look for what you feel matches the look of your bike.

On my Triumph I put some gorgeous Rizoma's, but after an hour of riding they hurt like hell. Keep this in mind when choosing grips, some may look fantastic but hurt like hell an hour or two into the ride.
