Have it on my bike, came with it when bought new. Have used it a few times, but not regularly. It seems to be well made and works well.

Caliper lock you are speaking of you have to carry with you. This roadlok is bolted all the time to your fork leg and all you have to carry is the pin which fits in your pocket or in a leather pouch or even on a key ring. I have 2 of them on my road glides. I've had it since my 2006 ultra.

It still requires someone to bend over to activate, remove before take-off,still have to carry a key and pin.

I have 2 of them and live that I don't have to carry a disc lock which is much heavier. I like that all there is is a pin or a dust cap either in my pocket or the glove box of my bike. I have 2 bikes and both bikes have them. I have one lock that is new and was going to buy another road glide until wife had an opinion about it lmao. Let me know if you're interested in buying. I'll take pics of the lock which I took out of the package pics.

Based on the fact that the pros will get your bike no matter what you do, how much inconvenience are will to ADD to your routine. The fork lock, ignition lock and security are adequate to prevent the joy riders from stealing your bike The dealer had lost the keys for my bike when they delivered it to me and they gave me a disk lock so I could at least ride and start the break in. I found it inconvenient and was happy when the correct keys showed up. Something like that gives me no additional "warm and fuzzies" that the bike is more secure. If it makes YOU feel better, it is worth it to YOU.

Considering you're responding to a 6-year-old thread and the OP hasn't been here in 5 years, I suggest you put it up for sale in the classified section. Good luck.
