Way too many issues with these twin cooled motors IMHO, I can't stand when I have to bring my bike back to the dealer for anything even if I like the dealer. I can't imagine how annoyed I would be having a Tech working on my brand new bike so many times. Each time is an opportunity to scratch something or whatever every time someone else works on my bike.

I would be looking if possible to get a new bike or my money back; it appears it's happened before and that's what I would want if I was the OP.

The MOCO I hope realizes that there are people on the fence about HD and didn't drink the koolaid, if these threads gain traction they will loose sales and the haters will have a lot to talk about.

I feel the OP's pain.

Oh...oops. Sorry, I thought this thread "Steal leaking" was about taking a quick **** on the side of the road so no one sees you.

Anyhow, glad I have a '12, and will hang on to it for a while.

The other option is to run it dry, run it hard until it seizes, it's under warranty and you have tried plenty hard to get it fixed. Then they can deal with a clanked engine.

Not quite as easy as that. I tried this once years ago...errrrrrr
I would find another dealer and at the same time be filling out the Lemon Law paperwork to get the ball rolling.

What "this" are you talking about?

We have known for a couple of weeks about the filler neck "Program".

Product Notice: 0916: PRD PGM:2014 TWIN-COOL FILL NK

My H-D profile shows nothing else for my 2014 Limited. There should be another program soon for the thermostat. Those two should fix all of the issues people have seen so far with the cooling system. Both are bad parts suppliers, not a design flaw, IMHO.

If you're not leaking at the moment, I'd hang tight until the thermostat program comes through and get that and the filler neck done at the same time and the "water cooled issues" will be history.

The water cooled issues will never be history.
What do you think is going to happen a few months/miles down the road when these "fixed"replacement parts start getting some age on them and the leaks start all over again.
You think HD is gonna keep paying??.......hahahahaha
Bad system, bad design....Harley should stick with what they know.

I don't share your pessimism. I think the system is well thought out. Directed cooling to a target area that reduces heat to the rider's crotch. It gives comfort and power advantages without adversely affecting the look or sound of the air-cooled Harley experience. It's not rocket science. Full and partial water cooling have been used on internal combustion engines for centuries. It's almost identical to BMW's system on the R engine this year.

The two issues affecting the 2014 water cooled bikes are really simple problems.

One, the overflow bottle filler neck material deformed under extreme heat on a small number of bikes. HD is replacing the filler necks on all water cooled bikes now. Mine has never leaked in four months but I'll get the new filler neck so that I don't ever see the issue.

Two, the manufacturer (Caltherm) of the thermostat housing is having some sort of manufacturing issue where the elbow fitting is leaking on a number of units. HD and Caltherm are sorting this out now and soon there will be a program to address it. No idea what that will be at this point. Maybe the ones that don't leak (like mine) will be determined to be OK, maybe they all have to be replaced. No biggie. Again, nothing to do with the design of the system but rather a faulty manufactured fitting. This could happen on any of the bazillion parts on the bike.

If heads were blowing up, engines melting, etc, I'd be worried. The two things that have gone wrong on a small number of bikes are simple supplier issues on simple parts and easily addressed.

You need to take that bike to another dealership, one that actually reads the service bulletins put out by the MOCO on their private website. If your dealer hasn't caught on this late in the game I would say he has got a line down someplace. Move on.
