I've don't have a Danny Gray seat (I've had the HD Brawler which sounds similar), but from what you are describing, the t-bar is mounted to the fender where the studs are coming out of the fender. This is covered by the seat once installed. After you mount the t-bar using the flange nuts, put the seat on and the tab on the seat should line up with the hole/stud on the exposed portion of the t-bar. That's where you put the seat retaining nut/screw to hold the seat down to the t-bar (which is mounted to the fender). Make sense?

I put the plastic piece on the T-bar and under the seat tab and the chrome washer on top, have run several that way. Someone will probably come along and tell you I did it wrong pretty quickly.

Any issues getting the seat to fit into the tab where the front slides into doesn't seem to want to line up easily

Yeah my last Weekday solo was hard to fit the frame tab, the seat pan will flex enough to fit and then take a set after installed.

[QUOTE=Mohawkpan;12104328]I put the plastic piece on the T-bar and under the seat tab and the chrome washer on top, and the acorn nut on top of the washer.

I kinda figured that's what it was for and the seat needed some flex but didn't wanna screw anything up

I took a file to the hole that recieves the tang from the frame.

Smoothed it out a bit, and then it slid right in, but still had a snug fit.
