Sucked a military bootlace through with a shop vac..... Pulled the TBW AND right side wiring at the same time...... I did clip and solder the green clip out of the way.
I got thinking last night do I pull both through, many of you answered that, did y'all pull both cables together or one at a time? I see a couple of you pulled them both through at the same time. I've been using twine from Lowes and dish soap as my lube. Only a couple pieces broke, but the is to due multiple pulls and rubbing the exit point. My daughter has been helping me with this and I must say she has been a real champ about it too... she helps me remain calm :P
I'm gonna give the green clip one more try, if it doesn't make it through this time it's gone.
string trimmer line and cocoa butter as a lube....did my buddies bars with it...plug left on and pulled right through....take your time...you'll get it
Cutting the green connector is not a problem and very necessary. Get a roll of weedeater line and fish it through to the bottom hole. Tape approx. 3 or 4 wires to it and fish them past the bend. Then tape 3 or 4 more and fish them past the bend. Keep doing this and as wires come thru the bottom, cut them loose from the weedeater line.
I cut out the green plug as well but there are some on here who don't condone it.
Cutting out the green plug is not recommended because: 1) there is built-in resistance in the wiring, AND 2) doing so makes it much easier to lose track of what wire goes where! You may get away with it if you cut the wires as close to the switch as possible, and you pay very close attention to the wiring, but it's not recommended.

This is the preferred method, and the method that I used. I picked up a SE throttle sensor kit on Ebay for $50!
