Default Axle Spacers???

A little curious about the piece the dealer did not and I guess could not install laying on my shop stool. The other side is installed, but not this one, do they make a different size for the Hot Legs by Arlen Ness?

Is this even safe?

Also since I did not do the install, how do you take off the front wheel now?

the original is in there, no problem. the big fat "domed" one looks like i would not fit. They make a "tapered one", not sure if it fits either. check with ness for the instructions and spacer recommendations. mike

For a CVO and Ness Hotlegs the left side spacer will not fit. You need a stock style spacer, the tapered is too big around. Just had this issue last week. This is for Ness hot Legs only.

Can you tell me what part you used specifically?
Thanx

A spacer off of a regular non cvo bike, not the tapered CVO style. Any dealer should ahve them in stock. It's kinda funny that the nice Ness legs down't work with the fancy CVO spacers.

Regardless, if you own a CVO and want a smooth bottom leg look into Smooth bottom lowers as they will work with the stock spacers on a CVO.
