When I had any experience ordering painted parts, they took around 4 weeks. My painted inner fairing was 6 weeks twice(once crash repair). Hopefully I don't need to deal with painted parts anytime soon.
Looking foward to seeing pics.
Your bike pic in your sig looks great. The new wheels they're putting on the '14's and the demin black looks mean.
I've been out of the country since the '14's were released and haven't seen any in person.
Damn...and thank you. I'm ordering my CVO bags in BBP next week. The only thing more expensive than ordering Harley parts is finding a painter that will spray anything in BBP, and match it, for less than $600.
check with joe at xtreme dimension painting out of nj. he color matched a bbp front fender for me for a very reasonable price.
I ordered extended bags in blackened cayenne for my sgs last week, they said it would take around 4-6 weeks, not a problem as it's just sitting now anyway waiting on spring. With the cost of them I hope there are no problems like others have said...
I ordered HD bags about two weeks ago through Surdyke. The price difference between what Surdyke was charging and what Eastern PC would sell me V Twin bags painted in BBP was about $100. For $100, you get HD parts, HD paint (for better or worse, we'll see), the skid plates, and you don't need to buy any other hardware. For me, it was an easy decision.
