36 Month Priority Maintenance Plan
$3699.00 + $1795.00??? Geeez. No other explanation than you found a dealer that is either so crooked, or thinks you are the stupidest sumbitch that ever lived. If it were me, I'd be CANCELING the entire deal, and looking elsewhere. Any dealer that even tries to pull something like that, is not worthy of my hard earned cash.
All the dealers here in the DFW area added that fee to me when I bought last year. They gave me some BS excuse, I said good bye and bought in Arkansas. I saw a CVO Ultra a couple of weeks ago and that same dealer had it listed at $45K. I also order online at Kutter or New Castle.
I am absolutely astonished by this. Never have I heard of such blatant thievery occurring. Maybe I live in a vacuum but WOW is all I can say. I get dealer add-on's for assembly of bike. I get a few other things too, usually all small fees and all negotiable. But to add on THOUSANDS of dollars that is about 25% of the bike's value for a pre-paid service, I'd have to run away from that place and never return. Guess I'll not complain about my purchase (and I was a Happy Camper too!). I got to ask if there was a "Happy Ending" after that deal was struck? And for whom?

so $5500 is maintenance and warranty!! Sorry to insult you but you are either not too bright or a troll.
When you're buying a vehicle you need to know the bottom line price out the door, less your down payment so you know how much you're financing. Also what interest rate you can get going through your bank or credit union. To them it's just a unit they are trying to move...don't fall in love with it until the deal goes your way.
If the bike is still at the dealer and you haven't taken posession of it and haven't taken it off their lot you may be able to get out of the deal completely. The extended warranty and service plan you normally have 3 business days to cancel.
Dealers will try to get you any way they can...on the price of the vehicle and then in the business office.

I don't think that is the extended warranty.... I believe what you purchased is a maintenance plan to get all your oil changes 1000 mile service and 5000 mile services done at no additional cost. You have to do an awful lot of riding miles to make it pay off. And you usually can only have the maintenance performed at the dealership you bought it from. So if you happen to move in the next three years you may have paid all that money for nothing. I my opinion get your money back and pay for the services as you need it, instead of rolling that into your financing.
Agreed. Bad deal. Unless you are putting insanely high mileage on, I don't see how you would ever spend almost 4k on oil changes. Get your money back. And read through that sales receipt carefully. If they got that by you, you probably paid for undercoating and window etching too. LOL.
If you can do your own maintenance, or have an indy that you trust, I also agree with cancelling this plan.
However, I really wish it was offered to me when I bought my bike. I do not do my own maintenance. Don't have all the tools or knowledge to be messing with a 15-20k dollar bike. I'd probably only make things worse, and cost a bunch to fix my mistakes.
I haven't ridden much the last couple of years, laid off for a time last year and shoulder surgery this year. Still, bike isn't even 2 1/2 years old yet and I've put almost 35,000 miles on it. (I like to ride when I can). And coming up with $300-400 every couple of months is getting harder and harder to do. When you add in other things that need to be done, periodically, that isn't covered, like tires, brake jobs, cables, wheel bearings, etc., it can be down right frustrating trying to pay for it all. If I'd gotten the maintenance plan, I could take it in for the 35k mile service and have money now for other things mentioned that will need to be done pretty soon.

In your case the plan would make sense.... You would break even or even be money ahead. Depends on how many miles you ride. The dealers are gambling on you not breaking even!
