Yours is what it is known as an open ended question, in other words there are a great many ways of answering it, which makes it difficult to do so! Are you interested in some specific features, such as installing replacement parts?
I am looking for upgrades Harley has made from 2008 up to see if I it is worth while for me to move up a couple of years on my Ultra.

Thanks - that makes life easier! Your bike is the first year with the 6 gallon tank, which continues to this day, however from 09 onwards the touring bikes all got a new frame with wide rear wheel and a thorough makeover. So recent bikes may look similar, but are greatly improved. The 2014 models have 49mm diameter forks and a superior set of trees, which improve handling (and long overdue!).
Hopefully other members with detailed knowledge of recent models will chip in.
how about a list of bad changes they have made over the years. i'll start, crappy 25mm wheel bearings, weak flywheels, evo weak engine cases, left case bearing race moving in evo's, changed to the INA cam bearing in jan.92,crappy bearings in trans starting in about 07, stripped drive pulleys on evo's( may still be a problem, don't know) swing arms breaking on touring models up to 09, frames rusting out on 90's bikes, they have made the charging system cheaper. i'm sure there is a ton of other things they have down graded over the years to save a dime.

I'm sure there are and it would be an interesting list, but yours isn't very good. I think this forum is a pretty good resource to learn issues because of the consistent feed of complaints. Example is the 09 to13 compensators. That being said, I don't remember broken swing arms on 02s and newer bikes. I think it was 02 when they change the swing arm. Anyway, I like the idea of a problems list but need something better. Let's say a year the problem started and the year it was fixed or replaced.
Also, I personally don't like stickys because they take forever to wade through to get to the subjects, but a list of changes over the years would be a good one that I would probably reference now and then. We should start one around 1990 and let everyone up date it before and after with the MOCO changes. Not problems, but changes. We could also do a problems list that starts about then as well. It's risky becuase those list tend to be more emotional out burst, but it should be a different list.
