I know many have put 1, and heard they can get hot, but didn't know if any audiophiles have added 2 to keep the amp temps down. Would it kill the Stator?

Jesus, my heated gear takes it's toll on the charging system.
I hate to think what two amps drawing that current would do.
I have two hawg wired PSC3004 which is a 300x4 rms amps so 600watts total. never had a issue. but if you are jammin at a stop light with low RPMs you can see your voltage gauge drop a bit.
Ask UltraNutZ on the audio board, if anyone knows it would be him. He suggested to me to add another 2 channel amp later than to go with a 4 channel one (all I have currently is fairing speakers, and I was considering adding speaker lids). Nice guy, and glad to answer any questions asked.
You can fit 2 pbr300 amps on top of the radio by trimming the gauge supports on the inner fairing, or you can put one on top of the radio and another on the side with the Hogtunes 2nd amp bracket.
I would use the 300x2 amps. The 300x4 amps are the ones with the heat issues.
I didn't know that, but I listen to my Ipod 99% of the time, so it shouldn't matter to me. Thanks for the info!
That's the whole reason I am ditching my Soundstream. Got three boxes of stuff to install when I get my extended bags and speaker lids back from the painter.
