Agree. Cobras are not designed for baggers. Better on light sport bikes at track days.

That's nonsense! Take a look at Avon's website before peddling such stuff.

They make a wide variety of tyres for all types of bikes including dressers and track bikes. I've been using their tyres on my Harleys, including dressers, since the 1970s. If you'd ridden on the stock Goodyears from those days you'd have changed brand pdq too!

You really should be ashamed of broadcasting such nonsense! Avon make suitable tyres for dressers, period. Go and check your facts!

From their website, for 2009-on Ultra etc:

Front Tyre: Cobra, Pressure front: 2.6 bar (38psi), Front size: 130/80B17 65H

Rear Tyre: Cobra, Pressure rear: 3.0 bar (44psi), Rear size: 180/65B16 81H

For earlier models:

Front Tyre: Cobra, Pressure front: 2.6 bar (38psi), Front size: MT90B16 74H (also WW)

Rear Tyre: Cobra, Pressure rear: 3.0 bar (44psi), Rear size: MT90B16 74H or 140/90B16 77H (also WW)

For owners wanting custom sizes for the rear, Avon also make 200/60VR16 (79V) and 150/80B16 (77V) Cobras.
