Local dealer puts on free seminars, somewhat to sell more stuff somewhat to sell more service shop time but mainly to help the locals get more bang from the sleds.
I have to admit, without pressuring for specific items of bolt-on expense the guys did a hell of job explaining a few oddities to some of the less educated riders. Best cams are not the severe lift high lope, got to have the engine squalling to make power types, best overall recommend by dyno results:255's for the TC engines, modest lift/duration resulted in more repeatable results with smoother power in a wider range. Hate to think it but they did say was better/easier to build a TC88 than most of the newer high cube engines and could deliver higher power/torque from one stepped to a 95 than a built 103.
Local dyno tech is a indy, not associated to the dealer save referred work, cuts the local HD boys some breaks on costs and has literally thousands of maps he has developed for PCII,III,IV, Fuel Pak and Cobra add on setups. Like V-ieds, wasn't too happy with X-ieds but doable does not like wide open exhaust, power dropper big time, stated had data and would prove for a set of runs anyone's ride would do better with back pressure.
Well worth walking into for a free donut and coffee, just at 1 1/2 hour long and not a bad way to waste a cold Saturday.
Went to a fashion show at a dealer one time. Two cuties trying on the latest jackets,shirts,jeans,etc.. Toward the end of the show, one of the girls asks the crowd[mostly guys of coarse] if they can show us anything else.. 3 of us hollered at the same time: Gloves!

That was probably the best time I ever had at a Harley dealership.
Many of the dealers around Nashville do "Performance Seminars" about this time of year. Most are helpful but mostly pushing HD builds and shop work for them during the slow winter.
