On my 13 FLHX the brake line worked just fine and didn't require replacement. As far as throttle cables I don't have these, but I now read in your posts that they are short too. You may want to compare the ones you have on the bike to the cables that are direct replacements for a stock 2003 RK.. Just an idea.
One thing i realized when I did my install was that everyones idea of "ok" or "suitable" is different. Maybe someone could tell you that they will work but in your mind it is not acceptable for the idle to change with the bars at full lock LOL!! I know I have come across this before.
Just because THEY SAY it'll work doesnt mean YOU are gonna like the result.
Just FYI, on my install the only thing I had to change was the clutch cable to a +4. Again, I dont have throttle cables so those I cant really help you with.

Reason: misinformation
Yes...it's bizarre...My clutch cable and all the stuff on the left worked perfectly...Disassembly took 30 min originally. Once I got all 17 wires for the extension kit, wiring the bars took me about 30 minutes...Bars in the clamps and plugs fed into the headlight bucket about 5 min. Left side grip and controls maybe 15 minutes. Then the headache started with throttle cables...Not that it is a big deal to replace those or the brake line but I kept banging my head on the throttle cables since so many put WO515's on with no issues and I was having issues...maybe the 03 is different. maybe being anniversary it's different. Maybe the bars on it when I got it had been changed along with line and cables...I dunno, but I will git er done...
