Oh man, feel like a junkie that needs a fix. This winter has be rough so far. Crazy cold temps, with only a few thaws, and during the thaws, it has rained. I am going stir crazy and need to get in a scoot.
The temps warmed up to 27 today, the sun was shining, and the roads were dry, and I saw some lucky SOB getting a fix while I was at work. I was so jealous.
Don't worry ... one of those southwest boys will be here soon telling how great it is down there ... Then you'll feel real $hitty again ... Ain't winter grand :>)
uncle larry...you are right, we do get carried away down here some times. it is all in jest. ya'll do have my sympathy when it comes to not riding for months on end--maybe there will be an early spring.
I feel your pain. Winter around here always sucks, and so has my mood lately. I'm in need of some 2 wheel therapy. I try not to get my bike back out until there has been enough rain to wash off the roads. I usually ease my pain by also scattering my bike across my shop, but I've been working a ton this year and haven't had much time to get into it. So far I've got it apart, still need to get some more parts, get them installed, and then work at getting it put back together. Good luck to you and the many like us.
Lemme tellya...real tough on the Central Coast lately...my daily 90 mile commute sometimes gets all the way down to 58*...start out @ 0615 to get to work @ 0745 or so...totally stressing me out...I am a twitterpated ball of protoplasm by the time I get to work...and those 80* days are REALLY wearing on me...bummer dayz, gents...
