Yes, I have it on my 2011 Tri Glide and I have lowers the same as your Ultra. Works great with lowers and this thing will move more air than your engine will need. I did change the lowers snap flaps that came with trike to the Harley magnet flaps and I can still get my hand in storage compartment.
thanks, guys. i took my lowers off when i bought the bike and haven't put them back on since. although, i am planning a "retirement" cross country ride and i may put them back on for that. thanks, again.
I have it on mine and I thinking of taking it off. It sticks out far and is the way of my highwat peg. I can still use it, but its not as comfortable as my left leg and limits how my leg can be put. Another thing is it leaks oil and you cant do anything about it since the ports that have the oil running into the filter are plugged off and cant have tubing attached and make the oil flow to the ground or back into the intake. with that being said, it does look good. esp if you get the chrome twisted cap.
I have one on my 2012 road king , it looks awesome!!! A ton of air flow as well. However it sticks out so far that my leg hits it whenever I hit the rear brake. On long rides my foot starts to cramp from twisting around it and that sucks but it does look good. Thinking about extending my brake pedal out , I think that would fix my issue. Oh did I say it's looks awesome!!!!

This is the problem I find with these mammoth A/C's is that they get very annoying on the right leg especially on long rides so if you absolutely must have one you can get floorboard extensions to move your leg out and a wider rear brake pedal.
I had one on my Fat Bob and didn't put one on my SG for two reasons:
1. Having to deal with the rain sock.
2. The need to cover it while washing. You would be surprised how much water from a hose goes through a rain sock. I worried about water in the intake.
I bought an S&S Stealth air cleaner and am much happier.
