1+ on anything BUT Black!

Wife's 02 FLHPI started out Birch White. It is now Brite White w/ Brown and Yellow Flames. Lots of Gold Pearl shot over the top. This was done two years before H-D brought out the white a/gold pearl. Sharp nice looking but draws flys and flyspots!

My 09 FLHTP started out as a skunk, Black and white stripe. Thought what color are NO bikes, let alone H-D's? BROWN! Looked at Dk Root Beer/ Light RB, looked at the new beer bottle, did not like either. Picked out Golden Bronze Met. Ford SD color, added a good coat of Gold pearl and I invented the Bourbon-Glide! 4 shows this year, 1 1st, 1 2nd and 1 3rd!

Two custom bikes, two custom colors, two very unique bikes.

I like them both, both are ridden often, neither are "show bikes".

Personal preference!! I have had a few different colors, yellow,teal,cherry and the last two were black. I agree you can't go wrong with black and chrome, but always cleaning!!
This time I decided the amber whiskey was the one!! Ordered in Nov. At dealers now adding some bling!! should be delivered next week!
come on spring!!!

A black Street Glide, huh? THAT'S different!

 

Black and chrome is my fav too. Charcoal pearl and dark red with chrome are a close second.

 

Not a black guy myself. They look cool and stuff, just not for me. My Midnight Pearl is close enough to black it makes me a little crazy. Sometime soon, hopefully, I will be adding a little more lighter blue to mine to make it a bit different.

 

I've had several black vehicles and the up-keep is a pain. Black bike and pick up now. Guess I'm getting old and lazy. My favorite color is the blue they used in 97 on my old Heritage Classic!
