I'm not cool enough to ride a black Harley.

 

I like black...Classic, beautiful bike without being flashy or drawing a lot of "unwanted" attention in a parking lot somewhere.

However...I do like the candy green/ black they are using on the Road King CVO!

 

I got my 2013 FLHX in HD color "Tuxedo" black & chrome ! Bug splatters are bug splatters on any color and dust is dust all it means is you're riding ! I do have to admit the cayenne red is a good looking bike.

 

What color should I use to make it corner faster!

 

Was talking about this just the other day at the dealership with a couple of the sales guys.

Even they agree that the whole "bass boat flake" trend is going overboard. There's a few select colors on a few models that look ok, but 80% are ugly as hell and need to just go away.

 

I guess I will put my hand up and say I really like a lot of HD paint. Black is a safe bet and I have had over 5 vivid black Harley's. Loved them all. My original 2014 order was even going to be black! But after seeing Daytona blue in the sun my mind was instantly changed. I'm more than happy and that is all that matters. Gee if you know who Liberace is, there's your problem right there...lol!!!

I realize it's sacrilege, but I think black is boring. I don't want my bike to look like 90% of the others out there and would never buy a black one. I realize my purple is the opposite extreme--alot of people would never own a purple one. (It's my favorite color. I've had two purple Harleys. Before you homophobes start with the gay comments, I can tell you my bike is a chick magnet.) My next one I will look at some of the great blues or reds that the MoCo has been coming out with. But definitely not black.

 

What's wrong with purple? I'm not a fan of black, too common for me. I like green, purple , silver ,and most whites .

 

I like the reds and oranges the best..............I got blue 2 tone LOL
