A lot easier on the 2014's less wires & the Vindikta Apes are 1-1/2 diameter
I browsed the thread but didn't a see the info, did you have to get longer brake and clutch lines for the 14" bars? I just got my '14 SGS today and I've been reading in other threads that anything over a 12.5" bar requires the longer lines. I want to go as high as possible without getting into replacing all the lines. Thanks!

Just reroute brake and clutch lines.FYI,I used 8"Extension Wires it worked but 12" Extension Wires would have made it easer.Get polyurethane bushings the stock ones are soft.

Did you have to open up either of the systems to reroute the lines or did you just have to finagle them around still connected to the master cylinders? I've heard people say on abs bikes the brake system needs to be bled and then hooked up to HD's computer to verify there's no air left. Seems like a money grab from the dealer to me, but it wouldn't surprise me. I'm just going to extend my wiring myself and keep the connections inside the bars, I did it on my other bikes with no problems.

The new windscreen is great. I also added a new Mustang solo touring seat with backrest that is nice for the solo 70 miles & over rides. I think the 7 inch windscreen would work to. To be honest I do like my 6 inch windscreen I originally had on there, I don't mind the bars poking above the windscreen, I think it looks fine. It's all about options.Polished out the front lowers, what a pain in the a**. Also slid the fork legs up in the triple trees 3/4 it handles noticeably better & looks better.
