You've got a good bike with low miles. I love my 08 and have no intention of chasing another model or year, but with that said I simply refuse to get on a newer bike so I'm not tempted. I say make it your own and ride the wheels off of it because once you start to chase the next best thing, it will never end.
Ian, it was a pleasure speaking with you. I am sure we will speak again once you figure out which way to go. I wish I could put my bike in my living room too.
Thanks you so much for your thoughts and quote on wheels. I will surely use you in the future and will spread the word about Hogpro!

Thank you sir, My current bike is very clean and I bought it from the original owner so it will be a great bike to keep.. I was just thinking if I did buy a new Street Glide special I would keep and not be tempted to buy a new bike for a very long time...
The 2009+ touring bike frame eliminates high speed wobble. The wider rear tire is a styling enhancement. I don't see the purpose in swapping a nice low mileage bike for another, but if you're in it for style points, go for it.
The '09 up frame is a nice handling improvement! Personally I wouldn't have one of the '07-'08 "crossover" bikes, But lots of folks are happy with theirs?
Ibewlinelife, that is a gorgeous bike. Good luck, whatever you decide to do.
If you find yourself on my side of the river give me a shout and I'll show you how easy you can get a 180mm tire on the back, whatever you want on the front, upgrade the gearing to that of an '09up, improve handling and looks for a lot less money than you would think. It is possible to make all these upgrades and still end up with a lighter weight bike than an '09 and for less $ than moving to an '09up. Makes for a great winter project. We got lots of winter left. If interested read my thread linked below. I haven't seen an '09 yet that I would want to trade for.
They are touring Harley's with the motor and trams and swing arm mounted in rubber. They all will get the wobble no matter what year but not as bad as the 08 and older ones. I would not trade my 08 for no new one made it is damn near paid for. It's got every thing the 09 and ups have except the new frame and swing Arm and 180 rear tire. The way I ride the new ones will do nothing for me. Personally they are getting to be put togher cheaper every year. If you want a 09 and up get you one if you like the big tire but if I decide I want a bigger tire it want be a 180 like all the new ones anybody can go buy it will have at least a 230 and not every one on the road will have one.
