had the dealer take it off before I took delivery. I also moved the toe shifter out to the end of the mounting shaft for easier toe shifting. My few experiances in past years with HD clunky shifting almost required a heel shifter. But the 07 RKC shifts very easily with just a toe shifter.

size 12, would not ride with out one, like it and foot fits on floorboards with room to spare

Always shifting my foot around on the floorboard so I got rid of the heel shifter right way and got a cool toe shifter. Old habit to just use toe anyway.

size 13 and use the heel shifter all the time. I find it very convenient.

Size 11 1/2 and use it regularly. Don't like scuffing my military dress shoes. Otherwise it's handy to have in a pinch.

I wear a 11, a 12 fits but a 13 is real comfortable

I put the Extended Reach Rider Footboard Kit from HD on my ultraand use the heel shifter all the time with no problem.

Took it off..I wear work boots so scuffing is not an issue. Just could not get used to the heel shifter.

I removed the heel shifter on my 2001 Roadking but then flipped it and used it for the toe shifter. There seemed to be a small difference in the offset thatgave me a hair more room.
My '07 Ultra is about to have the heel shifter removed as well.
