XM Error message: check antenna

XM Error message: check antenna
Just got my bike back from the shop and was going to enable the xm radio, when I got this message. I've been told that the antenna is inside the fairing. Is taking apart the fairing just a matter of 5 torx screws (3 on front and two on back) and then kind of prying it apart? I don't want to screw anything else up, but I want that xm!

7 actually - 3 on the windshield, 2 (one on each side) of the rear, about halfway down - and then 2 more (one on each side) down by the triple tree. Me, ah go ahead an' yank the headlight first, simply because that way ah'm not tryin' ta disconnect the plug while jugglin' the fairing.

Total of seven torx screws. All of the 27 size. The headlight comes off with the outer (front) fairing. Take the three for the windshield off first, then loosen the two upper ones on the rear, THEN REMOVE THE WINDSHIELD, finally remove the lower screws.
When re-assembling, the screws at the windshield only get 10-15 IN/LBS, if you over-tighten these your windshield will crack.
It is actually very simple to do.
