I bought this helmet last fall and really like the fit. (LS2 FF386) They run under the 200 mark and has a clear shield and a tinted shield. Seems to be well made. As with all full face and modular you get some fogging so I lift the shield at stop lights and have no problems.

I have a real hard time finding a helmet that fits my big square german head lol and I will pay pretty much anything for one that fits me comfortable. I only wear a FF when its cold but heres the one I ended up with because it fits me really well and the price had nothing to do with it but it does happen to be an inexpensive helmet.

It was a $200.00 lid for 1/2 off. Like mentioned before me, always a sale going on a a good warrantee to top it off.

They even have blue tooth helmets from many different companies too.

You can never have enough helmets. My collection is now complete from turtle shell, DOT 1/2 helmets, DOT 3/4 helmet, and now the modular helmet,

Good luck with your search,

quick thing i feel li have to mention when it comes to cyclegear, the majority of their inventory is "on sale" year round. I've got about a year's worth of their catalogs, and it didnt take long to realize their pricing scheme. alot of the time, they put a sticker over the regular factory tag with a %30 markup, then list it at the factory/online price as a 'sale'

i buy alot of stuff from cyclegear, but i dont trust em.

My wife wears a HJC modular and really likes it. I tried one on and the shells fit my head great, if I didnt already have 3 helmets Id think seriously about getting me one.

I've been looking at the Shark Evoline since it came out, but after trying to find one to try on I realized how few places stock the helmet. When I did find a dealer that had them they expressed their desire to get rid of what that had in stock and told me that the support sucked on their end. I've needed parts for a helmet while on the road so I ruled out the Shark, just something to think about, I really do like the helmet though.

I was able to try on a Shark Evoline at the Iron Pony in Columbus and was going to buy one this spring. I really love that the chin bar flips completely out of the way. I see that Revzilla has many of the Evoline3 helmets on clearance. I wonder if that means they are not going to carry them any more or if there's an Evoline4 coming out.

I have also heard folks grumble that support from Shark isn't the best. I sure wish someone like Shoei, Nolan or Bell a helmet that functioned like the Evoline. They would sell like hotcakes.

Love or hate the sport bike community but understand that nearly all full face tech has been developed on the track and tested in real world conditions. Do yourself a favor and skip the Harley dealer and check out a dealer that sells Japanese sport bikes. Look for the DOT/Snell rating! That means that the brain bucket has actually been extensively tested to do its original job which is to protect your brain case assembly group.

HJC makes a LOT of helmets for other companies. You generally get what you pay for too, but not always. It's possible to get a really nice, neat looking helmet for under $200. Try em on!!!! All heads and helmets are different. Finding one that fits is absolutely critical. Brand isn't critical, but the safety rating is.

Rally's and Harley dealers are notorious for selling 'cool' helmets that protect about as well as could be expected from a tin foil hat and charging ridiculous prices for them.

I've got an Arai Profile that IMO was worth every penny. Unfortunately I got to actually test it in real world conditions and it kept me safe. That alone was worth 10x the purchase price.
I also had a Scorpion EXO 200. Very comfortable but just not in the same league as the Arai. If the bar and shield logo is important to you go buy some stickers and do it yourself and save a fortune.

Remember, your head is the only thing that medical science can't replace. Take care of it.

I do not believe Modular helmets get the SNELL rating due to the flip up modular system, but do receive the DOT rating.
