Default Soft lowers

Hey just had a set of HD cloth lowers given to me ! Has anyone used them , got them strapped on right strap is very close to exhaust !

They work swell and the strap is pretty close but I have had no issues ....yet. They make a pretty large difference in cold weather comfort

True, they are close to the head pipe but I've put 900 miles on them so far with no melting issues. They make a big difference in Colorado in January!

I picked up a set off craigslist for $30 last fall and they really do a good job. I was concerned about how close the right side is to the pipe too but mine don't show any signs of touching. They are nice you can throw them in your bags and they don't take up hardly any room.

had mine for 3 yrs now and no problems here. really helps block some of the cold air on those frigid mornings in the fall.

It makes the difference between a miserable cold footed ride to a comfy footed ride. Also helps a lot in the rain.

i have had those elephant ears since 01 and they do the job ...and fold up nice till the next time it gets nasty out..

One of the best things I bought for cold weather riding! I've used them for about four years now and they really do the trick for me. I'd rather have them than the lower fairings. Is on...and easy off!

That was my next question was in rain does it keep your shins and feet dry ?
