Hidden antenna installation????

Does this replace this stock antenna that clips behind the radio or do you unplug it and clip in the new hidden antenna? Do you just leave the stock wire hanging?

Unplug the old, plug in the new and tie the old one up out of the way in case you want to put it back one day. You didn't mention which one you got, but if it's the ebay cheapie I love mine and it was less than $20.

I used the one from Metra at Advance auto and it worked fine, reception was a bit weaker in the mountains but was OK...just umplug and tiewrap it somewhere.

As already posted...unplug old, plug new & leave old antenna wire in-place for future use. Might want to return bike to stock before future sale so pulling it isn't necessary.
