I have some RC slip ons coming soon, after seeing these reviews about the CFRs I hope I don't regret it!
RCs are pretty awesome too...I have a set on my electra glide classic. Nice deep rumble, not quite as nice as the CFRs though. I went with the RCs because they were about $250 cheaper and available immediately. RC gives you a lot of options for different tips as well.
I have a 2012 Limited. SE 204 Cams, V&H Dresser Duals with the CFR-Fluted. Outrageous sound that turns heads here in Columbus, Ohio. Sounds just as loud as the Thunderheader that I had on my 06 Ultra.
I know that the Exhaust topic has probably been beat worse than a dead horse, but I am new to the Harley Davidson world and I need some opinions. I am buying a 2014 Street Glide when I return from deployment in March. I am wanting to put on a Stage 1 Kit. However, I do not want Screaming Eagle stuff. I have been doing A LOT of looking and reading and I have it narrowed down to 2 options.
First Option: Klock Werks Double Back Headers Cary Faas Racing FL Style Muffler w/Fluted tip K&N Intake (Stock Cover) TTS Tuner
Second Option: Klock Werks Double Back Headers Klock Werks WFB Slip-on Mufflers K&N Intake (Stock Cover) TTS Tuner
All of this will be in Black as I will slowly black out the rest of my bike. Please let me know what you know about these pipes/mufflers. Any advice/help is GREATLY APPRECIATED! Ride Safe!
CFR, CFR, CFR... Sounds like everyone should have the same mufflers. I just like having something that sounds really good to ME and don't care about the rest of herd.

Agree....and to the OP...sounds like you have experienced a CFR pile-on.
If I were you I might ask all the CFR fans a few questions....how is that single-chroming process used by CFR working for you? Have your CFRs started rusting yet? Are your bracket welds rusty yet? Are your tips rusty yet? What kind of customer service have you received from CFR when you called them about your rusty expensive mufflers?
