i changed the small gauge lights on my roadglide without taking off the outer fairing. just took the headlights out and went in that way.
look around on ebay. i found a seller that was selling the plug in leds (pretty sure they are w194) for $5.00 for 10 with no shipping. i bought 10 in blue and 10 in white.
You won't be able to do it that way on 09 and older Road Glides. On those models the headlight mounting screws are on the backside of headlight mount. You'll have to pull outer fairing to get to gauge bulbs.
I have an 07 and did the leds for gauges. How did you prevent the lights from flickering? I have the wire end and the newer style corcuit board ends. The wires will flicker and the cb end wont stay in the socket, it pops out when trying to install

I didn't have any luck with the circuit board end type either. The ones with the wires I always bend the wire out and put a little more bend on it so it sticks out further to make better contact with the socket. No problems after doing that.

Did you order the right ones ?
Wled-xhp5 ( the x is color choice) they plug right in. If they don't work rotate the bulbs 180 degrees.
Yes theyre the right ones. I got them from the same place too
