I didn't realize there was any animosity between the pre-14' and 14' bikes. Hmmm. Not sure why, but I am going to be checking in on how the upgrades are going as I will probably get one down the road. The first model in a model change may have problems to iron out, but so what? Enjoy your rides! Enjoy those new bags (awesome), that new stereo (sounds totally bad a$$), the design of the fairing (much sleeker), and hi-output. I think they're slick.
What animosity ? Having fun and some good natured ribbing is healthy ! If I had waited from July 01, 2013 when I bought my bike until August 2013 to buy my bike, I would have bought the new street glide special. So I guess I'm going to have to wear out my old dilapidated, sluggish, old design street glide for the next few years and see what's new in 2016. But boy am I going to have fun wearing that ole hunk of iron out !
