I think it depends on what YOU are looking for with your bike. The PCV does a great job. Was the cat's *** when it came out. It has a ton of users, and there are a bunch of maps out there for all the different combinations of parts. Is there a better way to "tune" a bike. I would say yes, but YOU may not need all the bells and whistles of a flash type tuner. I had a Fuel Pack on my Dyna and it ran great. Now I have a RK, and put a PCV on it. It too runs great. Would I do it again. Sure thing. Buy a used one, and get a map for it, and run it. Now, I will admit, that I am in the process of installing cams in my RK, and will purchase a Power Vision tuner, ONLY because it does uses the O2 sensors that came with the bike, and basically "talks" with the ECM on the bike. I geek out for stuff like that, and really like to dig into what's going on with the bike and the operating parameters. I dont HAVE to change tuners, I could stay with the PCV, it's more of a personal preference. BTW, it was a $550.00 choice. The PCV will be up for sale as soon a project is complete. Your current choice of a de-catted head pipe and slips on and perhaps an air cleaner, any of the "piggyback" type tuners, such as the PCV will work for you. Think of it this way. You can drive to work in a Ford Focus, or you can drive to work in a Ford GT500. Both will get you there, but just in different ways. Good luck.

'Already have a PC-V / Auto from FuelMoto ready to go on the '09 SERG 113/DD7 when we get the heads back from T-Man.

'Have 2 friends with well over 500k (5 different bikes, all with built motors) with PC-V / Auto, and they won't use anything else!!!

Had PCV w/auto tune on my 07 and now on my 12, and just the PCV on the wide glide TTS on the super glide.

I have been happy with the results.
If I were thinking of adding or changing my tuner I would go with a Pv for ease of use. If I was serious about my power the TTS

Had the PC-V on my last bike with zero issues but always wished I purchased the PV unit. When I got my last bike I went with PV, no extra wires under the seat I already have enough, a built in set of gauges if I wanted to mount it and the ability to easily download/upload data to a PC.

I had no problems with the PC-V
