Unless it is a sealed rim, you will need a tube and a rim strip. If ordering off internet, make sure the one you order has valve stem in correct location, center verses offset.
i bought a 60 spoke dna front 21x3.5 do i need to get a tube for the rim? my bike has mags and so did my last dyna so im in uncharted territory. any help would be great
I have the mammoth spoke front wheel setup...... It's tubeless tire. DNA seals them at the factory. I've read oodles of horror stories of them leaking air in the tubeless configuration. I'm pretty sure that when I was shopping and was quoted on 60 spokes, they were also sealed and tubeless. Mine have dropped a bit of air since installed though

Its a regular spoke. Not mamoth. Any links to a proper tube size to buy. Its a 21x3.5
I understand that..... But I'm surprised you didn't check of it was a tubeless wheel first...... Looking back, I sort of wished I'd gone with a tube, the salesman talked me out of it. Hogpro showed a good link, I believe I'll pick up a pair of tubes in the even I need them on the quick. Anyone know if you can put dynabeads in a tube?
