When I had my 2010 RK my speedometer was off about 5 mph. When I went on rides with some of my riding buddies I would show a higher mileage than what they had for the same identical trip. I finally had the dealer check it out and they replaced it under warranty. So I do believe that the speedo and the odometer ARE tied into eachother and not working independently.

It could be just a small difference then. My speedo was off by about 5 mph at 70. After I made the change with my PV, I made my normal trip to work. It always showed 32.3 to 32.5 miles and gps was always 30 - 30.1 miles. After I made the change to the speedo, it showed the exact same 32.3 to 32.5 miles.
I wonder if I run the PV numbers up and down and go for a test frive if that would be tampering with the odometer!
