Looking to buy a king tour pack for my SG...question I have is for people who have bought the aftermarket products. I've seen a lot from fairing factory with no hardware and mutazu. Wondering how the quality of this product is compared to the OEM tp. Price wise I like them a lot better but I don't want to buy junk and have a 'tuition' experience and start over. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I brought mine on ebay, a clone of the Harley one but much cheaper, added Harley decals/emblems and impossible to tell from the real thing. Also with this product you get the passenger backrest which is a $200 extra from Harley. The only thing I added was an original HD base plate to spread the load when bolting to the mounting brackets and a rack and decals.

Thanks. I seen those on there as well...how's the quality of this pack? Is there any wobble from the passenger? I've heard this but with the metal plate in the bottom I don't see how if the bolts are tight.
I just bought lowers from Mutazu. They are absolutely perfect. For the past few months, I've been calling Mutazu and speaking to Gina with a lot of questions. here's the low down! they are an exact copy of HD. Exact size. That matters if you want to add the HD liner. Mutazu recommends adding the metal plate to support the bottom of the Pak. You should be able to order the plate from HD. Seems Folks also upgrade the hardware, using HD's premium line. From what I gather, it's a good investment but will need a few more dollars to make it quality. For me, it's worth the investment over HD. Also, the parts department at my locsl dealership told me that a lot of folks buy the aftermarket version and will bring it to them to upgrade the parts that I listed. Finally , if you call Mutuza and so for Gina, she'll give you a 10% discount as a forum member.

Quality is first rate, perfect! No wobble when having a passenger. I did a 5000 mile cross country trip BEFORE I added a metal reinforcing plate, it fits across the inside and spreads the load of the bolts that attach it to the mounts, I did it for piece of mind as when I tour it gets fully loaded!
I purchased a HD liner bag so when we travel we can just lift it straight out and into our hotel room, it fitted perfectly.
The tour pac sizes are exactly the same as the HD one, even has the recess for the decal on the lid

Thanks for the input. I'll call them and get the ball rolling. Just wanted to hear the good bad and ugly first. Thanks again
