I put the basic the Progressive's on the back. I can't remember what model. It was like day and night! Cheap, easy and amazing!. I had a friend who swore by them and i didnt believe him. took me a year to do it! I will do it on every bike i own! Without question the best bang for the buck!!

I installed monotubes on my last bike, a 07 SE Ultra. My only disappointed was a drop in front end height. Used stock height set but front end lost around a half inch. It bugged me, might not bother others.

They did firm up the front end. If I install anything on my 14, I will go with the HD kit.

Yep! It bugs the hell out of me!

I had a dealer install the PS monotube "normal height" kit last April, and it sits about an inch lower, and I scrape the floorboard support when I take slightly aggressive left turns now.

The front end was VERY stiff, almost tooth loosening. The dealer (Old Road Harley) wouldn't own up to installing it incorrectly or eat the labor to check it, so I had to pay another dealer (Barger) to take it apart to check everything.

Larry pulled the front end apart (and my wallet), and said everything was fine. After that it did seem to loosen up, I think Old Road put way too much oil in the forks. But it's still too stiff IMO, and bottoms out and rattles when I hit ANY minor pothole or bump in the road, at any speed.

Throughout 2013 I talked to the Progressive reps a few times at different bike shows and no one knows why it rides like ****. Obviously everyone points the finger at each other.

I had Progressive 970's and the progressive rate fork springs on my Sportster, and it was amazing, so I trusted them. Never again!

These monotubes blow! CLUNK CLUNK BANG CLUNK !

(EDIT)
I found an old thread here regarding this issue, and it just pisses me off even more when I read all the posts with the same problem! If I had known before, I would have never bought them.

When I'm feeling rich again I may go over to HogPro and have them rip apart the front end and see what can be done (to try and solve the decel wobble too).

Installed mine a couple of weeks ago. Approximately 400 miles on them and so far, some of the best money spent! Looking forward to upgrading rear shocks soon. I used stock height on 2000 EG. My bike sets the same and brake dive all but eliminated. Purchased mine off Amazon for $231.00 PS - All 400+- miles two up riding.
