Yup I didn't ride one day due to a hangover. My retirement party, Friday night stayed up until sunrise on the "Rock", got on a boat crossed the lake in 8 footers got home, kissed the bike in the garage and said not tonight ! Next morning caught the sunrise on the lake.
I did that in younger days and it was just as stupid then as it is now. I will not ride unless I am sharp and focused, my life is worth a little bit to me.
I agree. won't ride unless I feel 100%. To many distractions (idiots) that can take you out.
Whenever I have the bike...no alcohol...ever.
Hangover means still drunk
Hungover doesn't mean still drunk. Hungover means you feel like crap because you drank too much the night before. I spent the weekend at the beach and rode this morning with a hangover.
Call it coincidence I'm writing this Saturday morning
I'm curious, how many of you have not gone riding because of a hangover? There were actually weekend nights lasts summer that I intentionally didn't drink because I wanted a clear head when riding the next day.
That's an easy one. Never.
I have never opted out of a ride due to a hangover. One or two drinks the evening prior to a ride does not give me a hangover. Cheers.
