Fairing mounted mirrors
I have WO 575's on my 08 Ultra, I was thinking of installing fairing mounted mirrors, but I've read a lot of threads on here about guys going from fairing mount to bar mount mirrors because of visibility issues.
I already have the FM mirrors(xmas gift), but bike is in storage yet. So they are not installed.
Are there major issues with rear view sight lines when you have higher/wider bars installed with fairing mirrors?

I have a shoulder problem there to wide when I put a jacket on I can't see behind them. Find a bike that has a pear on already and check it out with our ridding gear on the biggest of our jackets that will tell you.
If you mount them yourself,,, add 1/2" to the template and you shouldn't have any issues with rear visibility... I followed the template and ignored the warnings on HD Forums to mount a 1/2" to 3/4" higher... I'm 6 ft 1" and needed them a little higher,,, I just filled the previous holes with epoxy and redrilled 1/2" higher,,, they're good now...
