Is there a Heritage-like bar that's 1-1/4" with Internal Wiring?
Been looking at way too many bars for my RK Custom. Lots of specs and dimensions. Also sat on a lot of bikes. I've determined I like the Heritage bar that's on the actual FLSTC and also the new 2014 RK bar. Both seem to be about a 12" (ish) rise. Wouldn't mind something a few inches wider though. The big thing, however, is that I want a 1-1/4" bar with internal wiring. Anyone have a recommendation for a bar like this? I've been considering 10" and 12" apes because I think they might be closest. But are there other bars I should be looking at that have these similar styles/dimensions?
I have the heritage bars on my 09 FLHP and one of my winter projects is to mod the bars so that I can run the control wires internally. I started a thread here and if I finish taxes I might try and do this today...we will see.

I'd check out the Wild1's website, they might have something similar. I used to think bars were bars, but once you start running wiring inside the bars you start to see which ones are designed with that in mind and which ones go through the motions. When you need to run a thick bunch of wires you cant risk trying it on bars that just go through the motions, you need bars that they made specifically with nice rounded wire holes with burs smoothed out etc. I'm doing my third bike with tall apes with lots of wire bundles and I know what I'm talking about. The less wire your running inside the less you need to worry about that and Touring bikes dont fall into that category.
Check out the Wild 1 513. Close to the Heritage bar and you can wire them internally.
Wow. I looked at the 513s initially and then moved my sights to taller bars like the 10s and 12s. I hate hate hate the beach bars I've got. But you're right. These might be exactly what I need. There's even a pic on wild 1s site of my color RK Custom with those bars.
Can you tell me how tall you are? I'm 6" and don't want to lean forward, so I want a bar to be able to have room to roll back toward me if needed so I can ride upright.
WO515 here just installed on my 03. I wanted a bit taller and pullback from stock. So far I love these but haven't ridden yet (snow). I got a 12" extension kit for the wires (a breeze to run internally on mine) was told I could use all stock cables and brake line. I had to go with +4" on throttle cables and brake line. Clutch cable I pulled the clamp off at the nacelle and it works like that. I am 5'10" and the stockers had too much reach for me and not comfy. I installed the quick connect for the crossover on the tank when I pulled it. I have about 5 hours total time...bars, throttle cables and brake line replaced....
