Does anyone know if the bolt holes match up with the stock 2009 HD electra glide standard light bar? Holes are approximately 4-1/4" apart on the HD light bar.
Thanks...
Im not sure on the 09 but I have one on my 07 and a word of advice if you put one on your bike is to make sure you install the foam rubber bushing they give you at the bottom of the plate. My first one didnt have it and the vibration cracked the mount and my personalized plate fell off while riding, lucky it was at 10 mph and my buddy was behind me to pick it up. The new one I put on because I had to have the curved one, I siliconed the foam piece on AND put 2 dabs so even if it broke again it wont fall off. FWIW!
I had to modify the mounting holes and bend it away from the bottom of the fender a bit but all is well now.
Thank's bagman1
P.S. I installed it on my 13 EGC but bought a 09 Electra Glide Standard light bar from a forum member when I relocated plate below taillight when I got quick disconnects for tourpak. All is well now.
mine is on an 09 streetglide
been on since new works fine
no problems.if i remember correctly
the holes in the fender lined up
and the 4 holes for the tag you have to put a slight
curve in tag to line those up
looks a lot better than stock piece
I don't think so. If its the same as the Harley one, and I'm pretty sure Harley's is a repakaged Kury part, it actually mounts to holes in the back of the Street Glide style light bar. It doesn't sandwich between the light bar and the fender. The holes are much closer together than the fender holes. The back of the pancake light bar doesn't have any holes tapped in the back for it.

My '09 standard had one on the lollypop light bar when I got it and it is now on the '09 SG light bar I switched to. So, YES it fits both fine.
Oldhippie, I'm trying to learn something here- does your mount with the tabs sandwiched between the light bar and the fender or does it mount with screws into the back of the light bar?
