Default Tour pak premium hinges

Man this shouldn't be that difficult!!! They're just bloody hinges!

I removed the old hinges from the tour pak on my 2013 Eglide. I've drilled out the holes to accept the screws that are slightly bigger than the old rivets and now I'm all set to put the shiny new hinges on. I read somewhere that there is a front and rear hinge. Nothing is mentioned in the instruction sheet that came with the new hinges and there is no apparent difference between the hinges, no F or R.
BUT one has "HD 1" and the other has "HD 2" on the back side of the lower part of the hinge. Shows up in the picture.

Can anyone help me out with this???

I have installed them and never seen or heard of a front/back hinge that I recall.
Place each one on the predrilled holes and see if one is different by not lining up with the holes.

in your photo where the square block with 4 screw holes are. Inside of that you will see the markings on which is which.
After Whiskyjock made his post I took a second look and seen it.

Mine is a 2012, same for many years. I put them on and there was no difference in the hinges. BTW I like them.

I took another look at your hinges photo. By golly there is a difference. I guess I just stumbled into getting it right....but I'm getting old and don't remember that well.

Put these on my 13 limited today. Was wondering the same thing. They went on no problem. Always a little unnerving putting the drill to the tour pak

I don't remember any "front" or "rear" listing for the Premium hinges.

Same here, I don't recall a front and rear when I installed them on my 2011 tourpak.

I installed the black premium ones 2 weeks ago no difference front or back mine were not marked, also I did not use the rivets for the latches I used button head screws, lockwashers with nuts and locktite.
