I despise helmets so tickled pink I have been working in Tampa for close to 2 months now but have to agree with FF or modular. There is an awesome product made by a company called Nik Wax and one of their water issue items is called Visor Proof. Water just beads off. Not so great on goggles as once water gets on the inside all bets are off and things get scary real quick like. But the stuff does work very well on visors as well as shields.
I agree, and do the same thing if I know I'm going to be riding in the rain. If I get caught out, not expecting rain, I have the goggles as backup.
I have been using an AGI 3/4 style helmet, Ok...but not great in the rain....as I get older I want to save my brain for future use. Just bought a Shark modular, so I can use it 3/4 when it's hot and FF when it's cooler or wet. Looking forward to seeing how it works. Pricey though ($400+).
