His may have been beaten into the ground by now, but my new wheels give me a pretty good jiggle. I'm running a 21/18 mammoth spoke setup with a 120/70-21 front, and 180/50-18 rear. Between 30-55 mph...... It's hoppy. The wheels are holding correct pressure, and I see no external balancing, they were true when I installed them meaning when I spun them, they didn't seem to get caught on any real heavy spots, and didn't wobble side to side.......
I think I just have no balancing as I bought from a second rate seller. Are dyna beads my ticket to a smoother ride? The research I've done points to 1oz front, and 2 oz rear. Has anyone used these, how were your results?
Yes I have used them for the past 2 years and they have worked fine for me.
Did you use the dyna beads brand (ceramic) , or another brand (stainless)...... Just looking for the best first time result. They seem inexpensive, so I figured they're worth a shot, and simple to install. I just don't want to look at balancing weights on my custom wheels..... Ya know?
Turret Plug, i have used both dyna beads and now use ride on balancing and sealing gel and i see now performance difference with both, the added benefit of puncture sealing on the gel is what sold me.
Anyone else..... I got 2 yes's so far...... Need some more confidence boosting! Let me clarify some things, I'm not a dummy or a noob..... I got ripped off when I bought my wheels, got a good price, just not everything I paid for, which was balancing. I'm just looks for some forum wisdom......
You guys are like the Harley Jedi's........

TIP..if you have a compressor...when you are pouring either the dyna beads or the gel, blow a bit or air to clear the passage if it gets clogged. Go ahead and order it and use it...Tons of folks use it....You will be happy with either. I use to buy the beads 6 bags at the time...

Ok...... I'm planning on the beads, but certainly open to as many suggestions as possible
Here is the inside of my front EIII after over 30000 miles with dyna beads...The inside of the tire looks like a snakeskin but you can see the smooth streak in the middle..hope it helps... This is not bad for 30k...Gel doesn't do that...
