EZ Pass mounting ideas...

I have a newer EZ Pass (the smaller, but thicker one). How are others mounting theirs? I don't want to put velcro on the inside of the windshield, and don't have a windshield pouch. I know that doesn't really leave many options.

Tie the pass to some 550 cord and hang it around your neck. Get to where you're going and throw it in a bag. I wouldn't make it more difficult than that.

I was thinking way more complicated (RAM style mounts), I like your much simpler solution. May have to search for a cheap neck pouch. Thanks!

Don't know if yours is different than mine here in Texas, but mine is inside the fairing and works fine

or in the saddlebag.

it'll be picked up unless shielded in a farraday cage or the RF shielding bag that the EZpass is usually shipped in.

I thought about putting it inside the fairing for longer trips, but what happens if it doesn't read? I had mine mounted on the windshield crossbar on my Switchback and it wouldn't read at all. All I can think is that the metal caused interference.
