Modular helmet ???
I do a lot of long distant riding and have a 65 mile commute one way leaving at 4:30 A.M. it's a tad bit chilly most mornings. Thinking of buying a full face or modular helmet. If you ride with the modular's chin section up do you get much lift from the helmet I don't want to feel like it's pulling my head off while riding...Thanks for any input.

If you just want to try a modular without spending allot of money the Hawk Modular helmets are surprisingly good for around 90$.The chin bar on mine does rotate all the way around to the back but you can feel the weight.I don't ride at anything over around town speeds with the chin bar up.Another cool feature is drop down shades that i use way more than I thought I would.you can't really go wrong for 90$.

Check this website out and the customer reviews. Just go to the modular helmet section, find the one you like, and read the reviews. Pay close attention to what each helmet is good at and the features because you can pay a lot of money and still not get what you are looking for. Good luck

Nolan N43 my thumbs up, and if you ride an Ultra J&m audio has the communication headset that fits this helmet.

Have a Hawk with integrated BT, heavy, noisy but was $150.
Use a SScuberth C3 for winter riding, was givin to me
Use a SharkEvoST 3 for all other times, great helmet, love it better then the C3 which cost 3xs more.
I would sell the Hawk size L with Blinc BlueTooth for $100 shipped if you want. Used 5x's.
