Question idle adjustment

my friend has a 2001 ultra ,, mine is the same but a 2005 ,, his is only idling at around 600rpm and it should be around 900 ,,?? is how to adjust the rpm's up , i do have a manual for mine and i am sure they are the same ,, but i have not looked into it yet ,, tried the cables last night ,, but only got stiff on the return of the throttle return ,, so i out it back to where it snaps back smothly ,, is there a adj. screw behind the a/c plate ??? or is it more complacated than that ?? will get manual out this weekend and see ,,, just getting a heads up on this ,.
thanks mike

If they are EFI with the Delphi system then there is no adjustment. Does the bike have a EFI controller other than stock? 2001- 2005 might not be the same. I'm not sure the exact year M&M systems where discontinued.

EFI bikes don't have a "screwdriver adjustment"

They require a flash tuner to adjust.

If you don't know whether it has a carburetor or not, you shouldn't be monkeying with it...
Just sayin.

2001 is a magnetti marelli fuel induction and isn't the same as your 05. There is a screw hole behind air filter cover that you adjust it by. Search for idle adjustment on magnetti marelli systems. Not hard

A simple search will reveal all you need to know. I Googled 2001 Ultra idle adjustment. Make sure the bike is totally warmed up.

pretty simple to make adjustments if you have a tuner..., if so call the manufacture for assistance
